Steps to Disable Ads in uTorrent:

  1. Open uTorrent Application, on the Menu Bar, click on Options -> Preferences -> Advanced.
  2. In the filter bar to the top right, enter the following option entries and turn their value to False (disable them):
    • offers.left_rail_offer_enabled/left_rail_offer
    • gui.show_plus_upsell
    • offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled/sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
    • bt.enable_pulse
    • gui.show_notorrents_node

That’s it, on turning the above options to false, you’ll see that the ad disappears.

It’s quite easy to remove ads in uTorrent, but, as they’ve worked too hard to develop such good technology to provide you files for free, you shall respect the developers. Anyways, the choice is yours.
