Look no further; you’ve come to the right place. You might have many reasons to reach out to Facebook’s support team. For example, you might be concerned about your account’s security. Maybe you need help with a technical issue, or want to make sure your business ads are being seen by your target audience. Read on to find out the best ways to get assistance with your Facebook account.

I want to save you frustration from dialing phone numbers that are disconnected or lead you to a dead-end automated message. Internet urban legend says there are phone numbers and email addresses to contact Facebook support directly for assistance. After extensively searching the web, I can confirm that there is no direct way to contact Facebook support.
However, you can find solutions to most problems using the Help Center, and I will give you step-by-step instructions on how to do so. Before we get into that, I just wanted you to remember something important.

Facebook has over 1 billion users. As a result, that means that the Help Center may be slow to load at times due to the large amount of people trying to access it. Please have patience and bear with it.
I know that’s much easier said than done, especially when time is of the essence, but the good news is, Facebook’s Help Center has been designed to have easy, clear solutions for most issues. Now that we have this in mind, let’s see how you can find the assistance needed for your Facebook issue.
Accessing the Help Center.
There are two ways to access the Help Center for Facebook Support, depending on whether or not you have a Facebook account.
Help Center for Facebook Users:
- On the bottom right-hand side of your news feed, you will see a button that says “More”.
- Click this button and you will see a list of options. Click “Help”.
Help Center for Non-Facebook Users:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click “Help”.
Need to report an issue?
There are two ways to report an issue to Facebook’s support team. This is depending on what you’re reporting, spam and/or abuse or a broken feature.
How to Report Spam or Abuse:
- Starting from the Help Center, you’ll see a list of categories. The most common categories will be grouped in the center section under Popular Topics. You’ll see the remaining categories are accessible on the left-hand side under Desktop Help.
- Find the topic that best describes your issue and click on it (for Spam or Abuse, click the “Report an Issue” icon in the bottom right in the center of the screen).
- Click the link that best describes the issue you’re reporting.

How to Find the Help Community:
- From the Help Center, using the Desktop Help menu on the left-hand side, scroll down to the bottom of the link list and click “Help Community”.
- Click “Browse Topics”, then click the topic that best matches the issue.
- There are two ways you search for your issue, which I’ve described below.
You can type your issue in the search bar at the top of the screen.
Or you can sort by Most Recent, Top Questions and Unanswered. You can find this under “Browse Questions” in the center.
- If you still aren’t finding your question, click the grey “Ask a Question” button on the right-hand side.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to fill out the form. Please note that you may receive answers to your question from other Facebook users, in addition to members of the support team.
Other Things to Keep in Mind:
- Having issues with a game or an app you downloaded on Facebook? Try contacting the game or app’s development team first, then report it to Facebook if still no resolution.
